Vicki Joffrion

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at the Escud Funeral Home in Mansura beginning at 5pm until 10pm with a memorialwake service at 7pm. Visitation will resume at 8am Wednesday morning. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 beginning at 10:30am at Bayou Des Glaises Baptist Church in Big Bend. Interment will be held in the Bayou Des Glaises Baptist Cemetery in Big Bend. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
Vicki Joffrion, age 71, passed away at her home in Longbridge on Saturday, September 20, 2014. Vicki was born October 12, 1942. She has a Bachelors of Science in Health PE and in English. She taught High School English for 9 years in Campti H.S., Chestnut H.S., Natchitoches Academy, Bordelonville H.S., Central Louisiana Academy. Vicki was an owner cofounder of Delta Insurance Agency in Marksville. She was a former Mansura Chamber of Commerce President and an Avoyelles Wildlife Federation member.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Victor Elbert Captola Rushing Myers husband Sidney S. Joffrion, Jr. her daughter, Roxanne Joffrion.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Sidney Mona Joffrion, III of Longbridge, Scott Carmen Joffrion of Tallasse, AL, Chad Jan Joffrion of Bordelonville her daughter, Terri Trent Gremillion of Shreveport. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, Cameron Joffrion, Timothy Joffrion, Nicholas Joffrion, Christopher S. Joffrion, Francis Joffrion, Skyler Aldridge, Jason Joffrion, Benjamin Joffrion, Christopher W. Joffrion, Austin Gremillion, Taylor Gremillion and three greatgrandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Bayou Des Glaises Baptist Church, 6434 HWY 451 Moreauville, LA 71355.
