Funeral Mass for Victor Lachney of Plaucheville will take place at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Moreauville on Saturday, June 8^th, 2024 beginning at 10:00am with Rev. Brian Seiler officiating. Entombment will take place at the Sacred Heart Catholic Mausoleum.

Victor Lachney, age 86, passed away at the Avoyelles Manor Nursing Home of Dupont on Monday, June 3^rd, 2024.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Kathy Lachney; his grandchildren, Brody Harris (Karmyn), Richmond Lachney (Dinah), Hannah Lachney Moore (Jamison), and Warren Lachney; his great-grandchildren, Bentley Harris, Raley Lachney, Rhett Lachney.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Irma Coco Lachney; son, Blane Lachney; parents, Adolph & Odelia Vead Lachney; and his siblings, Emily Guillory, Constance Lemoine, Agnes Mayeaux, Cilton Lachney, Wade Lachney, Rouman Lachney, and Hamilton Lachney, Sr.

Visitation will begin at 8:00am on Saturday, June 8^th, 2024 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Moreauville until time of services. A rosary will be recited before mass at 9:30am.
