Vincent Paul St. Romain

Vincent Paul St. Romain, a beloved member the community, has passed away on January 5, 2024, at the age of 57 in Marksville, Louisiana. He was born on June 27, 1966, in Pineville, Louisiana. Vincent was a loving caring individual who touched the lives of many.

From a young age, he became a lifelong member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Hessmer. He served as an Altar Boy during his youth. He owned his own tire shop called "Recap Tire Service in Marksville, he also worked at Joe's Tire Store, Alexandria Tire and Environmental Industries in Port Allen.

Vincent will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cleveland and Josephia (Dauzat) St. Romain. Vincent leaves behind a lasting legacy through his children: Krissie Clark (Johnny) of Marksville, Vincent St. Romain Jr. (Kalee Rabalais) of Marksville, and Dustin St. Romain (Karlee) of Marksville.

Vincent's greatest joy was found in spending time with his grandchildren. From Vincent Jr., he cherished Maddison, Vincent III, Isabella, and Hannah St. Romain. From Krissie, he loved Amya Simmons, Aaliyah Clark, and Johnny Clark Jr., with all his heart. And from Dustin, he held dear one very special "grandpup" named "Cornbread."

He is also survived by his former wife, Angela Lachney Burgess.

Vincent St. Romain is also survived by his siblings: Cleveland St. Romain Jr. of Hessmer, Patricia Cook and her late husband Douglas Sr. of Hessmer, Jeffery St. Romain of Hessmer, and Melissa Courville (Ronnie) of Marksville. 

Services to celebrate Vincent's life will take place at Escude Funeral Home in Mansura and St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marksville. The visitation will be held at Escude Funeral Home on January 10, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and on January 11, 2024, from 8:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Church on January 11, 2024, at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in St. Joseph #2 cemetery.

Vincent Paul St. Romain will forever be remembered. He will be deeply missed but his memory will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind. Let us come together to celebrate his remarkable life and find solace in the memories we shared with him.
