Viola Thevenot

Funeral services for Viola Marie Thevenot of Cottonport will take place at the St. Marys Assumption Catholic Church of Cottonport on Saturday, September 17, 2011, beginning at 11:00am with Father Jamie Medina Cruz officiating. Visitations will be held at the Escud Funeral Home of Cottonport on Friday, September 16, 2011, from 4:00pm to 9:00pm and will resume Saturday morning at 8:00am. Burial services will commence at the St. Marys Assumption Mausoleum.
Viola Thevenot, age 91, passed away at the Grace Home Hospice of Alexandria on Thursday, September 15, 2011. She is preceded in death by her husband, Murry Thevenot parents, Ben Marie Tassin Juneau brothers, Philip Juneau, Hubert Juneau, Joseph Juneau sisters, Olive Lemoine Delaverne Harrison. She is survived by her children, Thomas Thevenot of Cottonport, Faye Riche of Bunkie, Peggy Taylor of Cottonport, Janice Ducote of Rosepine brother, Bennie Juneau of Bunkie sister, Marietta Guillory of Plaucheville. She is also survived by her thirteen grandchildren twentythree greatgrandchildren.
