Virginia Deaville Dauzat, 63, of Plaucheville, Louisiana passed away on December 2, 2016.
Visitation will be from 11:00 - 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 10th at Escude' Funeral Home in Cottonport, LA. Funeral services will be held from 1:00- 2:00 p.m. with the Brother Bryan Johnston and Brother Shane Deaville officiating.
Virginia was born to Vance and Judith Deaville on October 2, 1953. She graduated from Cottonport High School in 1971. In that same year, on April 16th, she married the love of her life, Radford Dauzat, of Brouillette. They went on many adventures together during Radford's time in the United States Air Force, traveling all over the globe. Once they returned to Baton Rouge, she became a mother and devoted herself to her two children- Tanya and Scott. In recent years, Virginia and Radford moved home to Avoyelles Parish. She was a devout Christian and a member of Dupont Baptist Church. She was very active in her community- including the quilting club of Cottonport- and always helped out anyone in need.
Virginia is preceded in death by her father, Vance Deaville, in 2004.
Virginia is survived by her husband, Radford; her children, Tanya Crawford and husband Mikal, Scott Dauzat and his wife, Megan; her three brothers, Larry, Thomas and James; her mother, Judith Deaville Dupre'; her grandchildren Austin (19), Andrew (16) and Elizabeth (2); and countless loved ones that she touched throughout her life.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be given to Food Bank of Central Louisiana in Alexandria and the Disabled American Veterans (DAV).
