Funeral services for Walter Franks of Marksville will take place at the Escud Funeral Home of Mansura on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 beginning at 2:00pm. Visitation will also be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 from 5:00pm until times of service. Burial will commence at the St. Richard Cemetery in Effie.
Walter Franks, age 61, passed away at his home in Marksville on Monday, June 16, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel Roda Franks daughter, Tressa Bardwell brothers, Monroe, Ben, Andy sister, Irene. He is survived by his wife, Linda Franks of Marksville children, Violet Harrison Phillip of Marksville, Joe Bardwell, II Rhonda of Marksville, Randy Bardwell Jessica of Pollock brothers, Arnold Franks of Carthage, TX and Willis Franks of Deville grandchildren, Patrick Bardwell, Sharon Dupont, Kayla Bardwell, Rachel Graves, Brandon Johnson, Amy Graham, C.J. Graham, Randy Bardwell, II, Elizabeth Bardwell, Joe Bardwell, III, Amanda De Freeze, Sean Godwin. He is also survived by his nine greatgrandchildren.
Services and arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
