Funeral services for Walter Jacobs, Jr. of Marksville will take place on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at the Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church of Moreauville, beginning at 11:00am. Visitations will be held at the Escud Funeral Home of Moreauville, prior to the funeral service, beginning at 9:00am. Burial services will commence at the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Walter Jacobs, Jr., age 90, passed away at the Valley View Nursing Home on Friday, April 22, 2011. He is preceded in death by his wife, Corinne Jacobs, parents, Walter Celina Benjamin Jacobs, Sr. brothers, Raymond Jacobs, Percy Charles Jacobs, Jimmy Jacobs, Huey Jacobs, Sr., James Jacobs, Sr. sister, Elvira Lavalais. He is survived by his daughter, Faye Dalton of Long Beach, CA sister, Loretta Young of Moreauville three grandchildren and also a host of nieces, nephews, extended family friends.
Services and funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
