Funeral service for Walter Lee Turner of Mansura will begin at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at New Jerusalem Baptist Church in Mansura with Pastor Darrell Sampson officiating. Burial will follow at New Jerusalem Baptist Cemetery.

Walter Lee Turner, age 67, passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2023, at his home in Mansura.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Veronica Polk; daughters, Rosemary Turner and Eboni Polk; son, Doug Seiss; stepsons, De’Vonte Polk and Kevin Polk; sisters, Rose Gordon, Viena Turner, and Glenda. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Turner & Rose Mae Sampson; and one brother.

Visitation will begin at 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at New Jerusalem Baptist Church in Mansura.
