Funeral services for Wanda Bowman Davis of Houma formerly of Lettsworth will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2015 beginning at 2pm at the Escude Funeral Home in Simmesport with Pastor Glen Mayeux officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2015 beginning at 10am until 2pm at the Escude Funeral Home in Simmesport. Burial will be held at the Gunnells Cemetery in Lettsworth.
Wanda Bowman Davis, age 58, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at the Chabert Hospital in Houma, LA. She was preceded in death by her father, John E. Bowman; and her sister, Debra Bowman.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Kimberly Kimble of Houma; sons, Arthur L. Hebert, III (Kim) of Lena, and John Paul Hebert (Lou) of Houma; step-daughter, Melanie Schudhut of Houma; her mother, Katherine G. Bowman of Houma; special friend, Rodney Davis of Houma; sisters, Cordette Moreau of Morganza, Etta Jernigan (Thomas "Peanut") of Houma, and Paula Falgout of Houma. She also leaves seventeen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers: Arthur "Nunu" Hebert, John Hebert, Braxton Hebert, Lance Kimble, Maddox Hebert, Kevin Cortez, & Joseph Kimble; honorary pallbearers: McKenzie Hebert, Mayce Hebert, Skylar Hebert, Debra Kimble, Bailey Kimble, Lilly Chapman, Colby Hebert, Austin Hebert, Angella Vitrano.
Wanda was an outgoing and fun loving person. She enjoyed celebrating Mardi Gras with her family. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
