Funeral services for Wanetta Bordelon of Simmesport will take place at the Christ the King Catholic Church of Simmesport on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 beginning at 1:00pm with Fr. Dwight de Jesus officiating. Visitation will be held at the Escud Funeral Home of Simmesport that morning from 8:00am to 1:00pm. Burial will commence at the St. Peters Catholic Church of Bordelonville.
Wanetta Bordelon, age 71, passed away at the Avoyelles Hospital on Tuesday, November 25, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ellis Bordelon Parents, Webster Elda Gauthier. She is survived by her children, Pamela Bordelon of Simmesport, Sharon Ducote of War Eagle, AR, Timmy Bordelon of Big Bend, Craig Bordelon of Dutchtown, LA her seven grandchildren seven greatgrandchildren sisters, Wanita Gauthier, Flora Ann Gauthier, Gretchen Saucier, Jane Lamartiner, Angela Ducote brothers, Rodney Gauthier, W.J. Gauthier, Wilfred Gauthier.
Services and arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
