Wayne Chesne, Sr.

Funeral services for Wayne Joseph Chesne, Sr. of Simmesport will take place at Christ the King Catholic Church in Simmesport on Monday, June 18, 2012 beginning at 11:00am with Fr. Dwight de Jesus officiating. Interment will follow with full military honors at the church cemetery. Visitation will take place at Escud Funeral Home in Simmesport on Sunday, June 17, 2012 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. The funeral home will reopen the following morning at 9:00am until time of services at 11:00am.
Wayne Chesne, Sr., age 64, passed away in Alexandria on Friday, June 15, 2012. He is preceded in death by his parents, Uray Genevieve Chesne, maternal grandparents, Mr. Mrs. Elton Bordelon and paternal grandparents, Mr. Mrs. Vital Chesne. He is survived by his wife, Lorraine Turner Chesne of Simmesport two sons, Wayne Chesne Stephanie Hill of Albany Bryan Keith Shannon Chesne of Gonzales. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Kirsten Ray Chesne, Lindsey Marie Chesne, Lauren Gayle Chesne, Matthew Wayne Chesne, Kolby Wayne Hill Mary Kalyn Hill.
Pallbearers will be Beau Firmin, Glenn Turner, Jr., Glenn Haney Turner, Sr., Ted Paul Turner, Matthew Wayne Chesne Kolby Wayne Hill. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kirsten Ray Chesne, Lindsey Marie Chesne, Lauren Gayle Chesne Mary Kalyn Hill. Crossbearer will be Garrett Firmin.
