A mass of Christian burial for Wayne Thomas Lemoine of Plaucheville will take place at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Moreauville on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 beginning at 11:00am with Fr. Marc Noel officiating. Visitation will be held at the Escud Funeral Home of Moreauville that morning from 9:00am to 11:00am. Burial will commence at the Sacred Heart Catholic Mausoleum. Wayne Thomas Lemoine father, brother, uncle friend, died at his home on Sunday, October 6, 2013. He was 61 years old and a longtime resident of Plaucheville. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Moreauville. Survivors include his son, Thomas A. Lemoine of Lafayette brothers, Penn Lemoine Jacqueline of Moreauville, Stanley Lemoine Angela of Mansura sisters, Mary Bonnette Daniel of Moreauville, Melissa Guillory Vincent of Baton Rouge and a sisterinlaw, Vee Lemoine of Moreauville. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces nephews, and friends who will miss his quiet, quirky sense of humor, his love of nature, and his beautiful spirit. He was preceded in death by his parents, Horace Neda Plauche Lemoine brothers, Michael Lemoine Leon Lemoine sister, Patricia Lemoine Dufour. After graduating from Moreauville High School, he joined the Navy. He was very proud of being a member of the Combat Camera Group based in Norfolk, VA and went on several overseas missions. He returned home and worked in the family lumber business, H Lemoine and Son. He was also licensed as an insurance adjuster in Louisiana, Texas, and Alabama. He loved music, antiques, Mustangs, golf, duck hunting, and fishing. He was deeply loved by his family and friends and will be sadly missed. Services and arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Diabetic Association.
