Webster Descant

Webster Dick Descant, age 82, of Bunkie, LA, died Saturday, June 21, 2008, at Hessmer Nursing Home in Hessmer, LA. He was the son of the late Bob Descant and the late Cecile Descant. He is survived by two sons, Earl Descant of Hessmer, LA and Don Descant, Pineville, LA; four sisters, Hazel Laflour of Bunkie, LA, Pearl Deshotel of Bunkie, LA, Myrtle Chatelain of Rayne, LA and Patsy Saucier of New Orleans, LA; eight Grand Children and seven Great-Grand Children. Arrangements are being handled by Escude Funeral Home , Mansura, LA. Visitation will be held Wedbesday, June 25, 2008 from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. with a wake service at 7 p.m. and will re-open 8 a.m. Thursday morning. Funeral service will be at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Hessmer, La. at 10:00 AM, Thursday, June 26, 2008. Interment will be at St. Alphonsus Mausoleum, Hessmer, LA.
