Wilbert Lacour

Funeral services for Wilbert J. Lacour of Plaucheville will take place at the Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church of Plaucheville on Monday, July 4, 2011, beginning at 10:00am with Fr. Charles Morgan officiating. Burial services will commence at the Mater Dolorosa Cemetery.Visitations will be held at the Escud Funeral Home of Moreauville, on Sunday, July 3, 2011 from 6pm until 9pm.
Wilbert J. Lacour, age 78, passed away at his home on Saturday, July 2, 2011. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clemile Rita Lemoine Lacour sister, Gloria Lacour Jarvie. He is survived by his wife, Genevieve Rabalais Lacour of Plaucheville sons, Roddy Lacour, and Ricky Lacour both of Plaucheville brother, Gerald Lacour of Westwego sisters, Joyce Robert of River Ridge, and Erline Guillory of Baton Rouge. He is also survived by four grandchildren one greatgrandchild. He was a veteran of the United States Army, and served his beloved country during the Korean War. He will be dearly missed by all who new and loved him.
