Funeral services for Wilbert Lavalais of Marksville will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2013 beginning at 11am at the Star Light Baptist Church of Hickory Hill with Rev. Van Keith Jones officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2013 beginning at 10am at the church.
Burial will be at the Star Light Baptist Church Cemetery
Wilbert Lavalais was born on November 8, 1940 in Marksville to Luther Lavalais Della Chartlot Lavalais. He departed this life at the age of 72 on Friday, April 12, 2013 at the Oak Haven Nursing Home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther Lavalais Della Chartlot Lavalais. Mr. Wilbert leaves to cherish his memories a host of cousins. Mr. Wilbert will be dearly missed for those that came in contact with him, loved him.
