Willard Desselle

Funeral Mass for Willard "Poo-Noo" Desselle of Hessmer will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2019 beginning at 10am at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Hessmer with Fr. Edwin Rodriguez-Hernandez officiating. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 from 5pm until 10pm at Escude Funeral Home in Mansura. Rosary wake service will begin at 6pm Wednesday evening and visitation will resume Thursday morning at 8am. Entombment will be in the St. Alphonsus Mausoleum. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.

Willard "Poo-Noo" Desselle, age 84, passed away on Monday, January 14, 2019 at Riviere de Soleil Community Care Center in Mansura. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fredrick & Emma Desselle; siblings, Emaline "Nan" Beauclaire, Florence Bernard, Holland "Pete" Desselle, & Elmo "Buck" Desselle.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 64 years, Joyce Mae Ducote Desselle of Hessmer; daughter, Tanya (John) Scallan of Hessmer; son, Patrick Desselle of Marksville; siblings, Lilly Desselle of Texas, Ida Blanchard of Mansura, Jason Desselle of Shreveport, & Sam Desselle of Marksville. He is also survived by beloved extended family, Courtney, Cynthia, & Ayden.
