Funeral services for William Poppie Anderson of Moreauville will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2013, at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church of Moreauville beginning at 1pm. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 1, 2013, at Escud Funeral Home of Moreauville beginning at 4pm until 9pm. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Mausoleum of Moreauville.
William Poppie Anderson, age 80, passed away at Avoyelles Hospital on January 29, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Iner Lee Anderson, four brothers and one sister.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Stella Anderson of Moreauville daughter, Loretta A. Hampton Robert P. of Baton Rouge son, William P. Anderson of Moreauville son, John Tracy Anderson Tina of Mansura. He is also survived by one brother, Floyd Anderson Carol of Bunkie three sisters, Octavia Lily, Lela Anderson Willie Mae Fisher all of Los Angeles, CA ten grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren.
