Services for William Harvey Grimmer of Simmesport will be at 12 noon Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at Escude Funeral Home of Simmesport. Burial will be in Christ The King Cemetery in Simmesport under the direction of Escude Funeral Home of Simmesport. William Harvey Grimmer, age 66, died in Baton Rouge on Sunday, April 27, 2008. He is preceded in death by sister, Colleen Elizabeth Smith, brother, John Edward Grimmer, Jr., father, John Edward Grimmer, Sr., and mother, Mary Evelyn Delatte Grimmer. He is survived by his wife, Gail Chunn Grimmer of Simmesport; son, Carl Duane Grimmer of Lottie; four daughters, Colleen Camile Rollins of Oklahoma, Evelyn Inez Langlois of Livonia, Theresa Christine Lowery and Florie Caryl Purpera both of Florida; twelve grandchildren, Christopher Rollins of Oklahoma, Christine Larsen of Alabama, Camilla Rollins of Florida, Harvey Rollins and Nicholas Rollins both of Oklahoma, Derek Langlois of Lafayette, Luke Langlois and Andrew Langlois both of Livonia, Jack Lowery, III of Mississippi, Steven Lowery of Florida, Nicholas Lowery of Alabama and Bowen Purpera of Florida; two step-sons, Randy Marchlafava of Slidell and Roddy Marchlafava of Baton Rouge; step-daughter, Robin Townley of Summit, Mississippi; three step - grand children, Jacob Townley of Summit, Mississippi, Joshua Townley of Baton Rouge, Jared Townley of Summit, Mississippi; sister, Mary Evelyn Domma of Gonzales; brother, Donald Ramie Grimmer of Livonia; half-sister, Mona Petronella of Texas. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Wednesday April 30, 2008 at Escude Funeral Home of Simmesport.
