Wilma Saucier

Funeral services for Wilma Saucier of Cottonport will take place at the Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church of Plaucheville on Wednesday, September 12, 2012, beginning at 11:00am with Fr. Charles Morgan officiating. Visitations will also be held at the church, prior to the funeral service, from 9:00am to 11:00am. Burial services will commence at the Mater Dolorosa Catholic Mausoleum.
Wilma Saucier, age 92, passed away at her home on Monday, September 10, 2012. She was a 1938 graduate of St. Joseph Catholic High School. She was very devoted to her faith, was a Blue Army member, and also a member of Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church Altar Society. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Emma Saucier Neyland brother sister, Robert Neyland Rita Riche. She is survived by her husband, Benny Saucier of Cottonport children, Kenneth C. Saucier of Baton Rouge, Juanita S. Corts her husband Stephen of Baton Rouge sisters, Mackie English her husband Tickie of Groves, TX, Janet Ortego of Plaucheville five grandchildren one greatgrandchild. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family. Pallbearers for the service will include: Benny Saucier, Dwane Saucier, Lawrence Corts, Stephen Corts, Chris Ortego, Skip Clark, and serving as cross bearer will be Amy Saucier.
