Wilma West Scallan

Funeral Mass for Wilma West Scallan of Mansura will take place at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church of Mansura on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 beginning at 12:00pm with Fr. Blake Deshautelle officiating. Burial will take place at St. Paul Catholic Church Cemetery.

Wilma Scallan, age 93, passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at Hessmer Nursing Home in Hessmer.
Those left to cherish her memory are daughters, Tonia Lemoine (Tim) of Mansura, Sandra Quebedeaux (Errol) of Woodworth, Mona Sturges (Mark) of Denham Springs; sons, Terry Scallan (Sue) of Cameron, NC and Robert “Bob” Scallan (Lisa) of Naples, FL; also survived by 13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mason West and Stella M. West; husband, Huntley Scallan; daughter, Brenda Scallan; granddaughter, Hannah Miller; and her, 7 brothers and 2 sisters.

Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 9:00pm on Monday, May 8, 2023, at Escude Funeral Home of Mansura. Visitation will resume at 9:00am on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at Escude Funeral Home of Mansura until time of service.
