Funeral services for Winnis Marie Juneau of Hessmer will take place on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church of Hessmer, beginning at 10:00am with Fr. Edwin RodriguezHernandez officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at the Escud Funeral Home of Mansura, from 5:00pm until time of service on Thursday. Burial will commence at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Cemetery.
Winnis Juneau, age 94, passed away at the Avoyelles Hospital of Marksville on Tuesday, July 23, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Juneau son, Richard Juneau and parents, Charles Clonie Juneau Mills. She is survived by her children, James Juneau of Bunkie, Jesse Juneau of Hessmer, and Elliot Juneau Pamela of Hessmer. She is also survived by her ten grandchildren, twentyone greatgrandchildren, four greatgreatgrandchildren. Pallbearers will be Anthony Juneau, Jason Roberts, Ryan Leger, John Lowery, Patrick Laborde, and Russell Juneau.
