Loretta Prier

Funeral service for Loretta Ann Prier will begin at 11:00am on Friday, September 10, 2021 at Escude Funeral Home in Mansura with Fr. Irion St. Romain officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery in Mansura.

Loretta, age 50 and a resident of Marksville, passed away on Friday, August 27, 2021 at her residence in Marksville.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Katriel Prier; father, John Morris; sisters, Sydney Rodgers, Briana Morris, and Brooke Johnson; brothers, Johnathan Morris; aunts, Angela Prier, Sheila Prier, Didrie Feltus (Larry), Shontrelle Augustine, Tisha Johnson, Angeline Loggins, and Delphine James; uncles, David Prier (Doris), Larry Prier (Felicia), Donald Ray Prier, Garry Richardson, and Craig Prier; best friends, Roxanne Baldwin, Bernadette Johnson, Rita Lavalais, and Cynthia Drummer; god brother, Brad Prier.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Louise Prier; maternal grandparents, Millburn and Marilyn (Holmes) Prier; aunt, Dianne Prier and cousin, Amanda Prier.

Visitation will begin at 8:00am on Friday, September 10, 2021 at Escude Funeral Home Mansura.
