Funeral Mass for Lynn Marie Weaver of Houston, TX will begin at 10:00am on Friday, November 19, 2021 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Mansura. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery.

Lynn Weaver, age 68, passed away on Monday, November 15, 2021 at her home in Houston. Lynn worked at Clarewood House Retirement Center for 30 years before retiring. Memories that will forever be cherished and missed will be her amazing cooking and baking while gathering with her family.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Alton Weaver (Eleanor) and Martha Weaver both of Houston; four grandchildren, Richard Wiley of McIntosh, Alabama, Alton Weaver, Jr., Amiya Thomas, and Aaron Weaver all of Houston; sisters, Ella Sampson, Leshia Benjamin, & Vanessa Sampson all of Houston, TX; brothers, Frankie Sampson (Bonnie) of Houston, Donald Benjamin of Bunkie & Glenn Sampson both of Port Arthur, TX. She is also survived by two aunts, Ines Batiste and Beaulh Dupas; one special niece, Lacreese Bankett, and three bestfriends, Gwen Sam, Connie Sampson, and Rosemary Barrow; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that she left.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alton Weaver; parents, John Sampson & Ella Mae Benjamin Sampson; and brother, Leroy Sampson and Russell Sampson.

Visitation will begin at 8:00am until 10:00am on Friday, November 19, 2021 at Escude Funeral Home in Mansura.
