Murphy Lonzo

Funeral Mass for Murphy “Harry” Lonzo of Marksville, will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022 beginning at 11:00 a.m. in St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Hessmer with Father Edwin Rodriguez officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

“Harry”, 81, passed away on March 3, 2022 in Avoyelles Hospital in Marksville.

He was preceded in death by his father, Orah Lonzo; mother, Ophelia Corner Lonzo; brothers, Octava “Duck” Lonzo, Lawrence “Ernest” Lonzo, Orah “Piren” Lonzo, Frank Lonzo and, Robert Lonzo.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sisters, Geraldine Edwards of Marksville, Virginia Bates (Clarence) of LaMarques, TX,; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022 in Escude’ Funeral Home of Mansura from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.

Escude’ Funeral Home of Mansura has been entrusted with arrangements.
