Raymond Dufour

Funeral Mass for Raymond Simon Dufour of Moreauville will begin at 1:00pm on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Moreauville with Fr. Brian Seiler officiating. Entombment will follow at the Sacred Heart Mausoleum No. 2.

Raymond Dufour, age 74, passed away on Friday, November 18, 2022 at Mercy Regional Hospital in Ville Platte, La. Mr. Raymond served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and the Moreauville & Bordelonville American Legions. He was an avid deer hunter and fisherman. Raymond retired after 25 years of an electrician for the Allen Canning Factory in Belledeau.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 44 years, Vickie Desselle Dufour of Moreauville and son, George Dufour of Moreauville.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers: Michael Lemoine, Chris Lemoine, Bruce Lemoine, E.P. Lemoine, Donovan Armand, and Don Couvillion.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Irvin Dufour & Myrtle Lemoine Dufour; and brother, Leonard Joseph Dufour.

Visitation will be held at Escude Funeral Home in Moreauville from 3:00pm until 9:00pm on Friday, November 25, 2022 and will resume Saturday, November 26, 2022 at 8:00am until the time of service.
